The Punjab police are learnt to have detained two more people in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, alias Sidhu Moose Wala. The men, identified as Keshav and Chetan, were held in Bathinda.
Keshav is suspected to have supplied weapons to those who attacked Moose Wala. Before the attack, he was seen with another accused, Sandeep, aka Kekda, who had conducted a recce outside the residence of the Congress leader by posing as a fan. He is said to have informed the attackers when Moose Wala left home on May 29 evening.
The Bathinda police have not confirmed that the two men have been detained. So far, Punjab police have arrested eight people suspected of being involved in the murder, while Delhi police have arrested a shooter hailing from Maharashtra.
