Imran Masood, who reached SP from Congress, did not get ticket, now he can support this party

UP Election: Former Congress leader Imran Masood and his supporting MLA Masood Akhtar met Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow on January 12 and announced to join his party. But neither of them has got a ticket for the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh. Imran lost to BJP’s Dharam Singh Saini while contesting from the Nakud assembly seat of Saharanpur in the 2017 elections. Saini has now joined the SP and Akhilesh has decided to give him a ticket.

Samajwadi Party has made up its mind to give ticket to Ashu Malik from Saharanpur countryside and Umar Ali from Behat, while Imran himself wanted to contest from Behat this time. Now Imran Masood’s camp is troubled by the apathy received from SP and is in touch with Bahujan Samaj Party. Let us tell you that Imran Masood was considered a strong leader of Congress, he is considered to be very dominant in western UP.
