‘Delhi Teachers University’ will be ready soon in the capital, the session will start from this year

Delhi Teachers University: Teachers University will soon be ready in Delhi. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia on Saturday visited the under-construction campus of the upcoming Delhi Teachers University in Bakkarwala village. Giving information, he said that this year the university will be opened for a total of 5,000 students. Students will be able to take admission in the session from this year itself.

Teachers University will be ready soon in Delhi

Delhi Government is setting up Delhi Teachers University on 12 acres of land and students will be able to apply for admission from 2022 itself. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has directed the officials to expedite the work of setting up this university campus in Bakkarwala village as the university session will start in 2022. Along with this, Sisodia said that the concerned department is also working on bringing in good and experienced teachers. The emphasis is on bringing in teachers who have worked with foreign universities.

University equipped with modern facilities

Delhi Teachers University will have lecture halls, digital labs and a library with world-class facilities. The four-storey main university block under construction is divided into two parts, which include the administrative floor and the education floor. According to the information, there will be an administrative office on the ground floor, while classes will be held on the first, second and third floors. Let us inform that on 20 December 2021, the Delhi Cabinet had approved the proposal for the establishment of Delhi Teachers University, after which the government is engaged in preparing the infrastructure.
