Mandira Bedi’s filmmaker husband Raj Kaushal passed away on this day last year after suffering from a heart attack. The actress remembered him on his first death anniversary with a heartbreaking post.

In the post, Mandira wrote, ‘365 days without you’ (Broken heart emoji).’ She captioned the post, ‘Miss you Raji (Red heart emoticon)’.

As soon as she shared the post on Instagram, her fans and friends showered her with love and support in the comment section. While one fan wrote, ‘God bless you, children and your family’, another one added, ‘More strength to you’. Apart from them, her friend Rhea Chakraborty also took to the comment section and wrote, ‘my love to you’.

In an earlier interview with PTI, Mandira opened up about deriving strength from her children after her husband’s sudden demise. She said, “My motivation to keep working, striving and doing better… My greatest motivation is my children. Everything I do, I do for them. They are my reason to carry on, my reason to live, to do better, to be better. They are the reason that I have courage, strength, the reason for me to earn. I need to be a good parent for them.”

Mandira and Raj, who got married in 1999, welcomed son Vir in 2011 and adopted 4-year-old daughter Tara in 2020. Raj was an ad filmmaker who also directed and produced feature films, including ‘Anthony Kaun Hai’, ‘Shaadi Ka Laddoo’ and ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’.
