Akshay Kumar on clash of his film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ with Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is all set to clash with Aamir Khan‘s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ at the box office. The films are all set to hit the theatres on August 11, 2022.

Now, during a media interaction, when Khiladi Kumar was asked about the the clash, he said, “Its a good week and it has two-three holidays. I think, two releases can work easily in this week. The COVID pandemic was there for almost two and half year, so two or three films releasing in a week is inevitable.”

Akshay went on mention that his previous film ‘Welcome’ had clashed with Aamir’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and both the films worked at the box office.

Meanwhile, with ‘Raksha Bandhan’, Akshay will be reuniting with Bhumi Pednekar after ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. Helmed by Aanand L Rai, the film also stars Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth.

On the other hand, Aamir will be seen with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’.
