Nearly two years after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Narcotics Control Bureau reportedly filed draft charges against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, and others in the drugs case. The prosecution has proposed that the court charge Rhea and Showik for consumption of narcotic substances and also for procuring and paying for such substances for the deceased actor Rajput. However, the court can frame charges against the accused only once the discharge pleas are decided.

It seems that Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’ cast is only gonna get bigger and better. Buzz is that Deepika Padukone will join her favourite co-star once again for a cameo in the upcoming film. Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Rana Daggubati and Thalapathy Vijay may also feature in the action flick.

According to the latest buzz, the ‘Adipurush’ makers are feeling the heat as Prabhas has seemingly hiked his fees to a whopping Rs 120 crore. At a time when films are struggling to go past the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office, Prabhas’ paycheque with one too many zeroes is reportedly making it hard for the producers to keep the money flowing considering that they have a sizeable portion of the film that is still to be shot.

Speaking of box office hits and misses, it seems that Akki is being blamed for the failure of ‘Samrat Prithviraj’. The film that was made on a budget of Rs 300 crore, managed to garner merely around Rs 100 crore at the box office. Buzz was that the director blamed Akshay for the failure as he didn’t dedicate enough time to the part. However, in a conversation with ETimes, director Dwivedi said, “I never blamed him for the failure of the film. Why should I? If he wouldn’t have been there, the film would never have been made.”

It seems that the alleged tiff between Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan was not as big a deal as everyone suspected. After all the ‘he said’, ‘she said’, the duo was spotted seated next to each other at a roundtable engaging in a conversation and sharing a laugh before they walked onto the stage to dance together.
