‘Samrat Prithviraj’ continued with its downward trend on Wednesday too. The film is recording a daily drop of nearly 15 per cent every day. After earning Rs 4.35 crore on Tuesday, this historical made a collection of Rs 3.65 crore on Wednesday.

Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ has managed to cross the 50 crore mark in six days at the box office. The film currently stands at a total of Rs 52.25 crore and is expected to rake in around Rs 55.50 crore at the end of its fist week, reports boxofficeindia. Overall, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ has had a low scoring first week at the box office. From Thursday, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ will face some competition from ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’. The Hindi belts have shown a positive response to this saga, but the numbers continue to be low.

Recently, the film was declared tax free in Gujarat. Chief Minister’s Office had announced the update on Twitter, “Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has decided to make ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, a Bollywood movie on the life of India’s brave warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan, tax-free in the state.” Previously, the film was declared tax free in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedithis film narrates the story of 12th-century legendary warrior Prithviraj Chauhan, who bravely fought against merciless invader Muhammad Ghori. Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar marks her acting debut with this entertainer.
