Actor Yash‘s blockbuster ‘KGF: Chapter 2‘ is finally set to wrap up its run at the box office after eight successful weeks. The film that was off to a flying start this year, slowed down towards the end of its run thus falling short of the Rs 500 crore mark.

According to a report on boxofficeindia.com, the Hindi dubbed version of the film earned around Rs 428 crore nett in India. Of the total collections coming in for the Hindi dubbed version, the film earned Rs 145 crore nett from the Mumbai sector, Rs 85 crore nett plus in Delhi / UP and Rs 40 crore nett plus in East Punjab.

The overall total collection of the film is closing in on the Rs 800 crore nett mark, of which Rs 375 crore nett was brought in from the South Indian sectors.

‘KGF 2’ is expected to cross the Rs 800 crore nett mark in the next few days and will take its place on the second spot on the list of highest-grossing films in India, only second to ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’.

The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer finished its run at the ticket windows with a collection of over Rs 1000 crore nett.

‘RRR’ that released a few weeks before ‘KGF 2’ came to the end of its run with an estimated collection of around Rs 750 crore nett.
