Talking to Filmfare, The actor said, “Recently, I saw Dr. Strange in the theatre, and I was like, I want to be part of a Marvel universe. They really know how to create magic.”
Kartik’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ locked horns with Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Dhaakad’ at the box office. While the Anees Bazmee directorial went on to make some record-breaking business, the Kangana starrer failed to attract the audience to the theatres.
Apart from Kartik, the horror-comedy also starred Kiara Advani, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ marks Kartik’s second 100-crore film after ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’.
On the work front, he will next be seen in ‘Shehzada’ which is an official Hindi remake of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. Kartik will be stepping into the shoes of Allu Arjun in the remake. His ‘Luka Chuppi’ co-star Kriti Sanon will also star opposite him in the film.
Apart from this, Kartik also has films like, ‘Captain India’, ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’ and others in his pipeline.
