Javed Ali has lost a friend with the passing away of KK. Javed has not been able to concentrate on anything after coming back from KK‘s funeral. Talking to ETimes exclusively a few minutes ago, the playback singer said, “Kuch samajh hi nahi aa raha. Kuch bhi kahin bhi dhyan hi nahi lag raha. Bhool hi nahi raha (I cannot focus and concentrate on anything. I just can’t forget KK. ”

Javed further said, “What a sad day today for the music industry. We lost not just an original voice but a great human being who never said anything bad about anybody; he always stayed away from controversies.”

And Javed refrained from meeting KK’s wife and kids at the funeral. “I could not lift my head to see them. I couldn’t muster courage. I didn’t even try to speak anything with them. I shall go to meet KK’s immediate family after a few days,” he added.

KK passed away on Tuesday night around 10.30 pm after he complained of uneasiness after an event in Kolkata. He was rushed to a hospital but died in the car; the doctors declared him ‘brought dead’. It was a massive heart attack.

A post-mortem was conducted yesterday and it suggested that he had lung and liver issues. This morning, a report in a section of the media also said that he had heart blockages
